One and the Same...

                                     ASHELEY ONE ON ONE.
We used to cry at school, we hated the scrubbing, we missed Accra, she was a sister from another mother. Naa Asheley is her name.

Everyone loves freedom, free to write, free to speak, free your mind, Freeman!
Freeman is the name of my little cousin.
When I thought of a literary double, none other came to mind than a combination of these.

                                                              I Love to write!

                                               Welcome to my world.

Starting my basic education at the Ministry of Health School at Korle-Bu where I launched my first book, ‘ The Scramble for the Ukwagwu Kingdom’, I started writing short stories at age 9.Growing up in a humble family of five, my dream was  to see myself on the highest pedestal of writing. During my days at the St. Louis Senior high School where I was the assistant library prefect and founder of the Readwide club  in my school, I embarked on several projects to make reading fun and to make sure the girls were ‘caught reading everywhere’, as the motto goes.
My biggest motivation has been my mum who believed in me when I told her I wanted to write a book in 2007.
Currently pursuing Bsc. Actuarial Science, writing blogs has been my favorite hobby. I have two blogs, ‘Ghana reads Peer magazine’, which is basically to promote my senior high school magazine and ‘Campus Diaries’, an online magazine for KNUST students.
It gives me great joy and pleasure to feature students who have achieved or are ambitious about achieving greatness on ‘Campus diaries’ blog.
In a line, I’m one who transforms the world with my writing…
Yes…My writings drives change.
My favorite moment in blogging was working on the 2013 SRC PRESIDENTIAL elections. I felt much fulfilled when I closely worked with a team consisting of actuarial and statistics students in conducting an opinion poll that rightly predicted the winner of the SRC presidential elections and I kept readers informed on my blogs.

I would like to thank GOD Almighty for benevolently showering on me gleaming ideas and talent and all those who have been instrumental in my writing especially my readers for hitting up my blogs and making it rock.
It was fun setting your minds thinking, keeping you on the edge and hearts ablaze for who Naa Asheley really is.
It’s me, none other than yours truly, Miss Gifty Abena Nketia-Yeboah, writing from the garden city of Ghana, KNUST.

                                                              love you all!!
