An emerging group known as the UST StActuarial Research Society made up of Actuarial and Statistics students have brought out the results of the opinion poll conducted last Thursday using a random population of 1000 students. Funds were raised by the group the members made up of the data collection , research, IT and finance teams respectively.

Speaking to members of the team, they stated a random method of data collection system in pursuit of practical experiments was used and were very unbiased in collection of data during the distribution of the opinion polls.However, this is not the actual results which could change on the election day.'It is just a prediction', the team leader told me in an interview.

We should be mindful of what we say and do in this day and age.. I hope that these students actually did and got their facts right about the opinion polls they conducted..
