Tayo cries,'I'm Innocent.'

Following the news on an attempt of the Business School Patrons to block Tayo's candidacy  from the SRC presidential race for spending a whopping sum of GH₵13,900, withdrawn in the company of the financial Secretary on three different occasions, Campus Diaries had a tête-à-tête with Jonathan Tayo.
Speaking to the lad, he admitted withdrawing money from the School of Business account without the consent of his patron.
According to him, he did that in order not to disappoint the students on the scheduled day of socializing.
He told Campus Diaries he did not spend the money, but he had to breach the law for the sake of the students he promised and added that he had receipts to that effect. 'I am innocent of all the charges', he said.
'At the time of the socializing, there was no money to organize it, so we had to withdraw the money without the consent of the accountant to organize it. I had to breach protocol in order not to disappoint the students that day as a selfless leader'.
Tayo caught campaigning in a class

Asking him why he did not quit the race after all he had gone through and how far the issue has gone  he said, 'I have a point to prove; my innocence. And God will vindicate me that day'.
It had earlier been rumored he was dating  three ladies of which Irene Larbi , SCISA secretary-elect was mentioned. Irene speaking to Campus Diaries earlier had bluntly refuted the allegation and Tayo said nothing different either.
Then later, the question of his nationality reared its ugly head on Campus but Tayo affirmed he was half Ghanaian and half Nigerian and stated clearly his mother is an Ashanti.
Drawing the meeting to an end, he revealed he went to GSTS and was there with Ebenezer Buari also an SRC Presidential Candidate and he says they are very good friends aside the SRC battle.
The matter is still pending and Campus Diaries cannot speak for a fact who is right and who is wrong unless proven by the  authorities in charge.

  1. If you have no money to organize a socialization, why not go straight to the patron and tell him your worry other than going behind the accountant and withdrawing money to the tune of GHC13,900.

I have personally heard 3 different version of what Tayo is saying.. What did he do after withdrawing those amount after the said socialization, nothing.

He even collected GHC10 from students for that event, so where from the arguement that there was no money.

We need a leader who would be transparent and able to the task..
